Creating beautiful and practical architecture, interiors and products, Gordon Young Architects was set up by Gordon Young in 2018.

Based in London’s artistically vibrant EC1, the company’s output has been wide ranging, with projects in the arts, residential, commercial, restaurant and retail sectors. The practice values good client relationships and always lends a close ear to each individual brief.  

Commercial experience includes "VIVI" , ‘Hutong’ , Aqua Kyoto & Aqua Nueva restaurants in London’s iconic locations, as well as the full refurbishment of the Hare & Tortoise restaurants in Ealing and Kensington.  

GYA’s residential output ranges from the design of a luxury eco resort in Grenada to the interior design and adaptation of a London penthouse. They have also undertaken numerous refurbishments of loft apartments and houses.

The practice has always believed that architecture should be an engaging and creative process; that it should be accessible and inspiring; and that it should be most relevant to the people who will use it.
