Ardilaun Road

Islington, London

2008

This dwelling is located in a quiet road in London’s Highbury area in Islington. The project involved the full refurbishment of the house including a side infill topped with a large skylight.

To represent the client’s very eccentric style, an eclectic mix of furniture was combined with different floor finishes in each room, including one made of reclaimed timber boards from a disused train station in France. Bespoke joinery items were also made to accommodate the client’s extensive wardrobe (particularly Paul Smith) and record vinyl collection (David Bowie).
